It’s Molly’s first birthday in a few weeks (ahhh has it really come that quickly?!?!?!).
We’re having a party for her (and p.s. while we’re on the topic, I guess it’s sort of my party too seeing as Molly was born on my birthday). But most party food is packed with sugar and salt. So I’m on a mission at the moment to create fun treat food that I can serve at her party.
These fruit jelly jewels are a great treat for kids (and adults) and are also SUPER simple to make.
I make these without gelatine – so they are suitable for vegetarians too.
I love stewed fruits. This is such a great dessert or snack option and you can serve it to your family/baby in a number of different ways depending on their skill level with food.
I generally do half a batch pureed and the rest as shown in the photo above. It’s great for freezing into cubes and making for an easy microwavable breakfast with some yoghurt for those days when you’re so tired you feel like your eyeballs might fall out.
Raspberries are such a great fruit. I always have a big packet of frozen raspberries in the freezer to chuck in smoothies, use in baking or just put on my cereal in the mornings.
This frosting is the perfect complement to my egg-free, sugar-free, caffeine-free chocolate cupcakes as it cuts through the sweetness of the cupcake so nicely.
Whenever I cook these muffins the entire house smells AMAZING. I’m a sucker for a freshly cooked muffin, straight out of the oven and these babies do not disappoint. They are not only tasty and good for you but they’re also super easy and quick to make.
